The morning session will focus on reviewing/discussing the Guidelines in a classroom setting followed by hands-on grading and scaling during the afternoon session.
Please note, the workshop is NOT based on the US Forest Service’s log grading system. This system is patterned after the current industry practice of grading and scaling hardwood logs based on diameter and clear faces.
